This 2011 penthouse is on the top floor of a building on the south-facing slope in the picturesque village of Piesendorf, only a stone’s throw from well-known Kaprun and Zell am See. You have a stunning view over the Hohe Tauern from this holiday residence from either of the two balconies. The house is spaciously and cosily furnished; cable-TV and DVD are present. You can enjoy your meals at the large dining table located in the conservatory. The large windows and the beautiful view bring the outdoors in while you stay cosy. The kitchen is spaciously and luxuriously furnished. Two bathrooms, one with a bathtub, are at your disposal as well as two large and charming bedrooms. There is wireless internet through the penthouse. There is parking space for two cars (outside) and a ski and shoe storage with electrical ski boot heating. In only a few minutes you are in the centre of Piesendorf where you can do your shopping, eat out and hop on the free ski bus to Zell am See and Kaprun. Kaprun is famous with skiers as a grand winter sports resort. The Kitzsteinhorn glacier is open nearly year round so you can always enjoy the permanent snow. A second major skiing area, the Schmittenhöhe is located on the slopes overlooking Zell am See. In addition to winter sports, there is a great deal to do during the rest of the year in the direct vicinity, with plenty of water sports options, rafting or wild-water canoeing, canyoning, walking, mountain biking or hitting a couple of balls on the beautiful 2×18-hole golf course which can be reached in only a few minutes. Popular excursions in the region are Salzburg "Mozart’s city", Hohenwerfen castle and the Großglockner which can all be reached in less than 1 hour by car. In short, the entire region has plenty to offer in all four seasons! Absolutely recommended for a comfortable and careless holiday!
