Ideal for young families, athletes, seniors, or individuals, but also for freelancers, professionals who are looking for ways to take a creative break. It has free Internet / WLAN access (optional service) and a study (= 2 bedrooms). With us you will find peace and privacy. Feel-good atmosphere guaranteed.
You will learn to appreciate this total package. It is optimally comprised of our property itself, the central location by the sea, extensive sports and leisure facilities, good infrastructure, short distances, and the beauty of nature.
The region is very attractive even in winter with the snow and ice. A great, inexpensive way to relax, and to enjoy cosy evenings by the stove fireplace after long beach walks.
DESCRIPTION:
This attractive holiday home is a comfortable single storey bungalow in a prime location, located about 200 meters from the Baltic Sea, with its clean, sandy beach. It was renovated and refurbished in 2013. It offers relaxation for the young and old. An oasis – as our guests have confirmed. This package is a great choice.
Located in the middle of nature, between meadows and the Baltic Sea beach, it is possible to relax: after a few minutes you can let your eyes wander over the beach and the waves, and with some luck follow the sunrise over the sea.
The house is in a quiet area, is modern and tastefully furnished, offers approximately 70 m2 of space for four people, and is located in a small cottage area with private access. The ground floor is the spacious living and dining area with open kitchen. From the living room there is access to the partially covered terrace (20 m2), where you can enjoy the sun and really take it easy. Equipped with a microwave / oven combo, dishwasher, and gas stove, it offers a high quality modern kitchen with almost every amenity you could wish for during your holiday. Even if it is cold and wet outside, the house is habitable all year round. With brand new gas heating, the living area gets snugly warm very quickly! In summer, the terrace in front of the house invites you to cosy evenings. The house has a 350 m2 enclosed garden with wind and view-protected sitting areas. A covered parking space for one vehicle is located directly at the house. The cost of energy (gas, water, electricity) is invoiced exclusively according to usage as it arises.
The hallway, shower room, and two bedrooms are in the front and side area of the house. The master bedroom is equipped with new beds and mattresses, and has plenty of storage options for travel items. The second bedroom has two single beds with new mattresses. For emergencies, a third fixed sleeping option can be pulled out (for children). We place great importance on sleeping comfort for our guests.
The beautiful Ostermader sandy beach is a long natural beach that is cared for regularly during the season. It offers a variety of beach and water sports activities for the whole family. A further advantage of this tourist tax-free beach (!) is that it is supervised in the summer. On the small promenade by the beach you will find a pier, beach chair rental, and in the season some restaurants (closed in winter), stores (fresh rolls, bathing accessories, and supplies), and a mini golf course. The beach is located in the “fair-weather spot” Ostholstein, near the island of Fehmarn. By car you can reach the island via the Fehmarn Sound Bridge in 15 – 20 minutes, with its other attractions (golf course, fishing, kite surfing, deep sea fishing trips, great sandy beaches).
Every season offers interesting destinations in the region for the young and old. But there is even more if the weather doesn’t cooperate. We then recommend a visit to the Aktivhus in Heiligenhafen, or to Dünenbad at Weißenhäuser beach, with its various wellness / bath and sauna offerings. By car you can reach all the hot spots of the region in less than 20 minutes.
Heiligenhafen (Baltic Sea holiday park, indoor pool, old town, marina, a variety of restaurants, seafood restaurants), Weißenhäuser beach and Gromitz, the Schleswig-Holstein lake district, the Baltic resort Großenbrode, the Hansa Park in Sierksdorf, and the island of Fehmarn with a shark and marine centre, the Wulfener Hals golf course, viewpoint Flügge, a donkey park, and the ‘Arche Noah/Noah’s Ark’ invite you to linger. And Denmark is a stone’s throw away. This means sports, adventure, culture, and infrastructure are always nearby.
Well-maintained bike paths will open up the beautiful landscape of Schleswig-Holstein. Bicycles can be rented in the region. Ideal conditions for a fun-filled beach holiday!

Fixed time frame for inner house cleaning and green keeping. Therefore no entering house is possible before!

you will find the RED guest folder in the house (living room table or living room cabinet), topics Internet access, passwords, fireplace use, information on technical equipment, excursion possibilities, utility bill, tips and tricks, etc.
ENERGY costs:
The costs of energy consumption (electricity, water, gas) are NOT included in the price, and they are payable onsite upon departure/return of the house in accordance with the house meter. Prices: gas 2.36 euros / m³, electricity 0.48 euros / kWh, water 7.90 euros / m³. Generally it is a manageable amount. Handling and settlement see black board in the house, corridor. Payment has to be done by bank transfer.
