In the picturesque Waldsieversdorf you will find your own little holiday idyll: Our “little house on the lake”. Only about 50 km from Berlin lies the beautiful forest and lake-rich nature of the Märkische Schweiz. The “small house on the lake” is located directly on the Great Däbersee, with private jetty and hiking trails right outside the garden door. The cottage itself was newly renovated in autumn 2017 and welcomes you in a cozy Scandinavian country house style.
On 70 m² you will find a large living room with fireplace, flat-screen TV, dining table and a large sofa, which you can also expand to a 1.40 x 2.00 m double bed if required; There is a cozy bedroom with a large double bed, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, convection oven and access to the terrace and chamber, a second bedroom with bunk beds and a newly renovated bathroom with shower. The friendly entrance area and the private terrace with forest and lake views round off your well-being.
Overall, the house has 4 beds (2 beds in a double bed and 2 beds in a bunk bed) and 2 extra beds (2 beds on the sofa in the living room).
The rent refers to the house incl. 4 people, each additional bed costs per person / night 10 €.
The house is located on the property of the landlord and access to the house via a long staircase, so our “small house on the lake” is unfortunately not barrier-free.
Your well behaved dog is welcome on request. We charge EUR 5 per day for a dog (cash payment on the spot). You also have the option to rent a linen package with towels and linen for EUR 10 per package. The final cleaning is included in the price.
In the dreamy village of Waldsieversdorf you will find the Café Tilia (about 10 minutes walk), a public bathing establishment with boat rental, slide, deep and shallow bathing area and snack / café (5 minutes), a playground (5 minutes) and the restaurant “Old Forest House” with traditional German cuisine (about 35 minutes). The place raises a tourist tax of 1 € / adult. and 0,50 € / Ki. per day, which you can pay locally with the landlords.
Waldsieversdorf and the surrounding area offer many leisure activities z. B. Cycling, hiking and swimming. But also culturally awaits you something: Right in the neighborhood is the “John Heartfield House” with an exhibition of the “master of photomontage” in the original house. And the annual Jägerfest, the Four Lakes Triathlon and the Fountain Concert are also very popular.
In the neighboring Kneipp spa town of Buckow you can visit the Brecht Weigel House, there is a cinema, a theater, some restaurants and in the summer classic in the countryside. A summer highlight for young and old is the Buckower Kleinbahn, popularly known as “Bimmelbahn”, which travels from Müncheberg via Waldsieversdorf to Buckow.
