Thanks to its location and amenities, this house in Brilon-Wald is not only the ideal destination for a summer holiday, but is also an excellent choice for a winter sport holiday. The house is situated on a quiet street at the edge of the village and forest, with direct access to an extensive network of hiking trails (including the Rothaarsteig), mountain biking trails and cross-country ski trails. The train station, a butcher’s shop and a cashpoint are within walking distance. With the SauerlandCard, available at the visitors’ centre, you can travel for free by bus and train through all of Sauerland. The town of Willingen is seven minutes from Brilon-Wald. Here you will find a wide selection of restaurants, shops, ski slopes, a swimming pool and a toboggan run. In 2014 the house was completely renovated and equipped with all the modern conveniences. It can accommodate 2-12 people. The beds will be made for you when you arrive. In addition to direct access to hiking, mountain biking and cross-country ski trails, Willingen (7 km from the house) also offers more than 15 km of red- and blue-graded ski runs. These ski runs are illuminated. Do you like cross-country skiing? There are over 90 kilometres of cross-country trails to explore in Willingen. In summer we recommend a visit to Diemel Lake. Measuring 15 km in width, the lake offers hiking, sailing, surfing, fishing and diving. Experience the lake by canoe or on a whitewater rafting tour.
