Neukirchen is situated in the heart of the Hohe Tauern national park at the Tauern cycle path, just a stone’s throw from the famous Krimmler waterfalls. Ski shuttles will take you directly to the ski resorts of Königsleiten and Wildkögel. If there’s a sufficient amount of snow, you can ski almost right up to your doorstep. Or you might want to experience Austria’s longest toboggan run in the nearby town of Bramberg. There are plenty of opportunities for relaxation in both winter and summer.
