By snowmaking equipment is a high snow security. Ice skating, curling, tobogganing, horse riding and sleigh are nearby. A cross-country trail is directly in the village.
Bodensdorf lies on the one hand directly on Lake Ossiach but then also at the foot of the first 911-meter ski hill ‘Gerlitzen’.
