There are numerous shops, craft shops, restaurants and pubs within walking distance as well as direct access to the Coastal Path.
At low tide you can walk across the Estuary to the Traeth Mawr (Newport Sands) with its extensive silver sands and patrolled swimming area. Head west along the coast path at low tide to discover two lesser known small beaches at Bettws and Cwm – both great for rock pooling and only a 5 minute walk from the property.
A favourite pursuit with local children is to catch crabs from the sea wall on the Parrog at high tide using a string and bacon as bait.
Ground Floor
Entrance via large porch to the kitchen/dining room which has a range of basic fitted units, electric cooker, microwave, refrigerator and a pine dining table with 7 chairs.
The adjacent utility area has an automatic washer/drier, small freezer, and access to the:
Downstairs shower room which comprises a shower, WC and wash hand basin a door leads from the utility area to the totally enclosed small courtyard patio area.
The spacious lounge has three comfortable sofas, occasional furniture, colour TV and a huge inglenook fireplace with a woodburning stove.
First Floor
From the lounge a spiral staircase leads to the three bedrooms.
bedroom 1 has a double bed and a sea view.
bedroom 2 has a handmade bed and is ideal for a child, a travel cot is stored in the cupboard in this bedroom.
bedroom 3 has 2 single beds.
All the bedrooms have built in wardrobes and all the beds have duvets and will be made up with fresh bedlinen for your arrival.
The bathroom has a bath, WC and wash hand basin.
Garden and Parking
Totally enclosed small courtyard patio area. There is a path to a secluded area with two benches.
Parking is in the free car park outside the boat clubhouse. NOT on the shared entrance drive.
Other Information
There are night storage heaters throughout the property, electricity is charged at £20 May to September and £40 October to April. Pay when booking please.
Please Note:
Towels are not supplied at this property.
A travel cot is provided but no high chair.
One well-behaved pet welcome, but must sleep in the tiled porch.
