The apartment is situated in traditional vineyard area Sievering, in the prestigious district Doebling.
Its perfect for whole families and people who love jogging, biking, wine and good food 🙂 Quiet but still good connection to the center (20 min)
The apartment has about 80 m2 in total, one large bedroom with a double bed and and one smaller with a bunk bed for two adults or kids. A living room with a couch that can be pulled out to a double bed. A baby bed is available on request. The bathroom has a bathtub with shower. The kitchen has an electric-gas stove, refrigerator, dishwasher.
TV, Wi-Fi included. Washing-machine with dryer.
The apartment will be refurnished until July 2016. Some details on the photos may change.
You will have a privat parking place in the yard, secured behind an iron gate. There is a big garden in the backyard of the property. We hardly use it because the flat is in a very green area next to the vienna forrest. We go there for cycling, jogging or just for walks.
We live in a house nearby. We are always available for question and are glad to help in anyway, feel free to ask!
Safety:
The apartment is in the safest and most expensive district of Vienna. There is an iron gate to the courtyard. The apartment itself has a high-security door made of 5cm steel! Safe as it gets!
The Area:
The district Wien-Doebling has long been the preferred location for embassies and is a smart residential area. Sievering is a traditional vienna wine taverns area which has remained largely untouched by mass tourism. Tourist buses regularly seen in Grinzing or Neustift you will not find here, but authentic wine taverns are open, depending on the season and the grape harvest. Though if you want to visit Grinzing or Neustift you can easily walk there as Sievering is located right between them!
A “Greissler” (traditional grocery store in Vienna) with regional specialties, a Viennese coffee house, several typical Viennese restaurants, and a small pizzeria are located nearby. Opposite the flat there is also a small fitness center. For nature lovers, joggers and cyclists the Vienna Woods are also within walking distance. A short walk to the Bellevuewiese (Bellevue plateau) just behind the house will reward you with one of the most beautiful panoramic views over Vienna.
Public Transport:
The Bus 39A is right next to the flat! It takes you in 15 minutes directly to the main subway station Heiligenstadt or in 5 min to tram 38 in Oberdöbling which connects Grinzing and Sievering with the city center. To the city center it takes you 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.
Private, locked parking in the courtyard is included!
Bikes available on request. They can be locked in the basement.
