Take a break from the daily grind and spend your holiday in the beautiful Northern Black Forest in Oberwaldach, a district of Waldachtal. This large and light-filled, upstairs holiday home is situated on a working goat farm at the edge of the town. Breakfast always seems to taste best on the covered balcony. From here you have direct access to the garden, which is also at your disposal. A terrace, numerous play offerings and a grill are also available for your use. Younger visitors will enjoy the petting zoo with its donkey, goats, rabbits, pigs, chickens and ducks. Numerous bike paths and hiking trails go on for kilometres through forests, over gentle mountains and past idyllic lakes. The region offers many sport and leisure options: an indoor swimming pool, kilometres of hiking and biking trails, museums, golf, good restaurants and much more. Favourite daytrip destinations: Freudenstadt (12 km) treetop trail (28 km), Stuttgart (54 km), Nagold Reservoir (10 km) and the German Timber-Frame Road (10 km).
