It does not matter whether you are with children, dogs or go alone; you will always have a great time here! If you love sunbathing, want to go on long walks on the beach or wish to enjoy fishing, you are at the right place: just leave behind your daily stress back home. In summer, the spacious wooden terrace with quality garden furniture invites you to enjoy fantastic barbecues with your loved ones; during winter you can make yourself comfortable in front of the warm fireplace in the living room. One of the bedrooms on the top floor has direct access to the balcony, from where you not only enjoy the fresh breeze, but also get a glimpse of the Baltic Sea. The open staircase leads to the ground floor of the property. Here you can expect a lovely decorated open plan living and dining area with windows that extend upto floor level and a high quality kitchen. With the extendable dining table and convertible sofa (with two complete sleeping arrangements), the cottage can accommodate up to six people. The bathroom has an integrated private sauna where you can warm up after a relaxing stroll on the Baltic Beach. Spend a dream holiday in every season here! The Süssauer Beach is a long natural beach, a major part of which is open for dogs. Süssau lies in the ‘fair-weather corner’ Ostholstein close to the island of Fehmarn. Children have plenty of space to play to their hearts content. Right behind the bank, another large playground is available for guests. The holiday home has been especially designed for families with children: the high chair can be converted into a gaming table and the travel cot has a practical diaper-changing pad. For anglers, the Süssauer Beach offers a unique sea trout stretch. A fish cleaning place is available for shared usage; the catch can be stored in the private freezer or in the large, shared deep freezer of the holiday resort. The holiday home has a small garden shed where you can store your bikes or fishing equipment. Even in unfavourable weather, the area offers many rewarding destinations: the Baltic resort Großenbrode, the Schleswig-Holstein Seenplatte, the Hansa Park in Sierksdorf and the island of Fehmarn with a shark and marine centre, a donkey park and the ‘Noah’s Ark’. Denmark is just a stone’s throw away. The well-maintained bike paths open up to the wonderful countryside of Schleswig-Holstein. Bicycles are available for rent right on the spot.
