The biker’s domicile of the old bakery is located in a former bakery (built around 1800) in the heart of the Damgarten district (Ribnitz-Damgarten). The cyclist’s domicile is located on the first floor. There is a washing facility at the washstand, where a jug is served with hot water. The room is spartan furnished with 2 single beds. The building is a living museum. You can use the downstairs toilet with wash basin and cold running water, which belongs to the café. The courtyard has circa 200-year history, which is visible everywhere. The property of about 800 sqm has developed into a museum. On some afternoons, you can enjoy coffee and cake between the old estates. Let yourself be enchanted by the historically preserved rooms, with the steam oven, the dough machines, the sacking machine and numerous other historical utensils of the old bakery. A small footpath takes you directly to the harbor, from where you can take great canoe trips on the Recknitz. Hiking or cycling are also possible in the natural Recknitz Valley. The fine sandy shores of the east coast are about 11 km away.
