Ferienwohnung (3 Zi KDB) In the middle of the Ruhr area, centrally located yet quiet location. Ideal for a trip to get to know the Ruhr area and its industrial culture, or for trade fair visitors (Düsseldorf, Essen). In the immediate vicinity of the CentrO, the Arena, the Metronome Musical Theater and the Turbines.
The apartment is located in a 6 party house in the 2. OG and is about 54 square meters large. The apartment has a bedroom with double bed (1.4 x 2.0 m), another guest room with sofa bed (sleeping area approx. 1.4 x 2.0 m), a cozy furnished living room (sofa, dining area and 42 ” TV), a fully equipped small kitchen (incl. Dishwasher, oven, microwave, grill, coffee machine …) and a bathroom (tub with shower). The apartment was completely renovated in November 2015. Bed linen and towels, as well as coffee and tea are included. Free Wi-Fi.
During the week the apartment i. D.R. from 5 pm to 6 pm. Check-out until noon. Late check-in is also possible. If you prefer other arrival or departure times, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will see what can be done (depending on the occupancy of the apartment).
The location is central but still quiet. From Oberhausen train station it is about 2 km, the nearest bus stops are about 200 m away. The bus from the main station takes about 10 min. From the airport Düsseldorf you reach the apartment in about 30 min (regional express to OB Hbf, then bus).
In the immediate vicinity of the apartment you will find several foodstuffs, bakers, hairdressers, pharmacies, Ä. Since the house is in a side street, despite this central location, the residential area is very quiet. Sufficient free parking spaces are i. D.R. in the street or in the immediate vicinity of the apartment.
The CentrO Oberhausen with its diverse shopping and leisure facilities (eg Gasometer, metronome musical theater, sealife aquarium, legoland, Tree2Tree climbing park, Cinestar Kinocenter …) is only about 2 km away. A direct bus service takes you there in about 15 min. It takes you about 20-30 minutes to walk there, 5 minutes by car. The CentrO has ample free parking.
Other attractions in the Ruhr area, Such as the Zeche Zollverein with the industrial museum, the Duisburger Innenhafen, the Landschaftspark Nord, the Museum Folkwang, the zoos in Duisburg and Gelsenkirchen or the Bergbaumuseum in Bochum can be reached comfortably by car or public transport in about 15-45 min.
You can reach the trade fairs in Essen or Düsseldorf by car in about 20-40 min, by public transport in about 45-60 min.

The guest apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a house with 6 apartments in total. (1.4 x 2.0 m), an additional guestroom with a convertible sofa bed (about 1.4 x 2.0 m), a cozy living room with dining and a bathroom (bath tub and shower). The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary utensils. The apartment was fully renovated in November 2015. Towels and bedclothes are included. Coffee and tea are provided. Free Wifi.
For checkin and checkout times please contact us. As we live in the same building this can be quite flexible (but also depends on whether there are other bookings the day before or after). Usually during weekdays check-in is possible after 5 pm, check-out by noon. If you prefer, please let us know. Late check-in is also possible.

In the direct neighborhood of the apartment you will find grocery stores, bakeries, haircuts or a pharmacy. This is a very nice hotel. Enough (free) parking space is available on the street in front of the house.
Further attractions of the Ruhr area as the world cultural heritage, the Duisburg harbor, the “Landschaftspark Nord”, the Museum Folkwang, the zoos in Duisburg or Gelsenkirchen or the “Mining Museum” in Bochum are easy to reach within either 15 or 45 min.
To the fairs in Essen or Dusseldorf you will need approximately 20-40 min by car, or 45-60 min by public transportation.
