Discounts
Incidentally, longer stays are worthwhile, especially for large groups and families: for a minimum stay of 7 nights, there is a discount of 10%. At least one month (30 days) stay there is a 20% discount. Large groups / families from 5 to 10 people receive a further discount of 15% in addition to the long-term discount and 20% from 11 persons. While the long-term discount is automatically reflected in the booking or pricing, the large group discount will be added manually. The environment
Supermarkets, excellent bakers and restaurants are within walking distance in a few minutes. It is only about three kilometers to the forest or the football stadium of FSV Mainz 05. Within 10 kilometers you can reach u. a. Mainz city center, the Rhine or even a golf course.
The “garden house”
The beautiful, extraordinary country house with historic quarry stone facade made of shell limestone – an end of the 19th century. It is suitable for large and small groups, couples or solo travelers looking for something special.
In the other half of the house (separate entrance) I live with my family, however, the term “semi-detached house” is incorrect, because the character of the house is completely different and the rooms are not divided symmetrically. For example, the entire very bright loft (2. First floor) with its floor to ceiling windows and its fantastic view of the garden complete the holiday home. On the first floor are two bedrooms and a modern bathroom with shower and bath.
Furnishings and room layout
On the ground floor with its natural wood floorboards (as well as throughout the house) is a modern, open kitchen with adjoining living-dining area, which allows direct access via a large sliding glass door to the large, almost 30 square meters of natural stone pavement terrace. From the terrace, which is bordered by a raised bed, leads directly into the gigantic 1. 100 square meter garden, which, with its many fruit trees, for adults a haven of rest – and for children a large adventure playground with climbing facilities, sandpit and giant trampoline.
The garden
Incidentally, the garden is also gladly booked for business or wedding celebrations and is structurally protected: there are no roads along it. The holiday home is set back about 40 meters from the Prunkgasse (the name of the unused one-way street), where free parking is also available.
The approximately 400 square-meter Tuscan-style courtyard with its Frog Prince fountain invites adults to linger and relax, children to play or cycling / tricycle driving. It is paved with natural stone in segmental arch construction, planted, covered by a dry stone wall provides quality of stay.
The decor is bright and complete, but so reduced (without “knick-knacks”) that our guests have room to unfold – according to the design feature “less is more”. Just as we like it.
Note for very large groups
By the way: If you are a very large group, then you would have a second house on the Hofreit available. The “Hofhaus” can accommodate up to ten more people. More information:
