First mentioned in a document in 1608, the historic house offers an optimal mix of ‘right in the middle’ and still quiet living on the old town island.
At about 90 square meters, a holiday home was created after extensive work, in which up to 6 people can leave everyday life behind.
The house is spread over 3 levels and thanks to its generous windows,
in the living / dining room to the courtyard garden even floor level, very nice bright.
On the ground floor is a glazed, white high gloss fitted kitchen with gas stove, electric oven and fridge-freezer.
Coffee maker, toaster, kettle and other electrical appliances are available as well as modern porcelain and dishes.
The dishwasher does of course the dishwasher!
Also on the ground floor joins the living / dining area with a fold-out sofa bed (for the fifth and sixth guest).
Also in the living room you will find a flat screen TV, a DVD player and a stereo.
The underfloor heating under the Gotland tiles warms on cooler days, but the house still has radiators.
Especially cozy in winter is the fully functional Art Nouveau oven with ‘Baked Apple Tray’.
After sightseeing or shopping, you might want to watch a movie in the evenings (free cable TV) or grab a book or board game off the shelf on the first floor.

With internet access (free Wi-Fi) they are connected to the world.
On the first floor welcomes you a small, open workplace overlooking the Jakobi Church, which is also very well lit at night.
Adjacent you will find a completely new daylight bathroom.
It does not matter if you prefer to take a shower or enjoy a bath:
The large tub and the high-quality slate and mosaic tiles invite you to do so.
Also on this floor is one of the two bedrooms with double bed and wooden floorboards.
Another bedroom with double bed and wooden floorboards is located on the 2nd floor.
We consciously decided against down comforters. They sleep with us on Dunlopillo mattresses and in allergy-friendly blankets Ökotest ‘very good’.
The sunny, small courtyard garden offers an outdoor space.
Enjoy the sun between lilac and hydrangeas.
The small garden is very rare in the old town and a real plus all year round. Here you can for a first coffee in the morning, or maybe a wine in the evening “just outside”.
Since the house is a Non smoking home, you have the opportunity to smoke as a smoker of course.
A TripTrap children’s chair can be provided free of charge and a hauck travel bed can be borrowed. Please contact us!
