Steingaden is a recognized holiday resort and has 50 small neighborhoods. The surrounding area offers a restorative holiday in the foothills of the alps, where Upper Bavaria and the Allgäu meet. The location has many monuments which reflect the history of the area. You can really get to know the Bavarian traditions in a typical Bavarian beer garden or at the village festivals. This country house is located approx. 3 km outside of the village of Steingaden in the small suburb of Jagdberg on a very large property. The accommodation is on a farm in one of the outbuildings of the main house, in the midst of nature with cows, calves, horses and cats. The farm is not far from the edge of the forest and a small lake. There is a large sunbathing area with garden furniture and lounge chairs, a bbq as well as numerous playthings for the children. Walking and cycling paths snake around the small village through the diverse natural beauty of Upper Bavaria. The close Steinberger See offers many water sports options, so sporting holiday makers cann also have their fun.
