Our inviting apartment is quiet and offers a unique hillside a fantastic view of the Kiel Fjord. The Kiel Fjord with their access to the Kiel Canal is one of the largest waterways in the world and offers every day the unforgettable experience of passing Crusaders, container ships and freighters as well as the giant ferries of Color and Stena Line. The living room with an upscale ambience has an integrated, comfortably equipped kitchenette and merges into a beautiful, light-flooded conservatory. Both rooms are lovingly furnished with high-quality laminate flooring and furniture. A Danish stove you donate, especially during the cold season, a lot of comfort. In connection to the winter garden is a sheltered sun terrace with loungers and barbecue facilities. The exterior lighting at night makes for a romantic mood. The spacious natural garden invites you to linger.
Highlight of the year – the Kieler Woche: Kiel Week is not only the largest summer festival in Northern Europe, but also the biggest sailing event in the world. She is eight days meeting place for the best sailors from around the world and a platform for diplomats, politicians and scientists from all continents. Musical and cabaret events round out the joyous celebration under the open sky. The Kieler Woche always takes place in the last full week of June. 2013 starts the festival on the 22nd June and ends with a big fireworks display on 30th June. Have you ever been in the international market? At more than 100 stalls, you can enjoy the culinary delights of many nations from all five continents. For music of any kind is always made: Whether folk, oldies, pop or classical – there’s something for everyone. On the inner and outer fjord you can watch the regattas. Heikendorf is mainly for Windjammerparade an excellent observation location.
