Underfloor heating and open fire pits invite you to relax and unwind even in winter. The living room is equipped with stereo and satellite TV, and there is a TV in the master bedroom. Wi-Fi is available. The house has a spacious modern bathroom made of natural stone (Belgian granite) with shower and bath upstairs. On the ground floor there is another bathroom with shower and toilet and a third guest toilet.
The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, stove and dishwasher etc. In addition, washing machine and dryer are available.
The large living room has a professional kicker and a trim bike. A ping pong table in the loft can also be used.
Garden:
The 5.000 square meter property offers several terraces and a haunted garden with old lime trees and oak trees, spacious lawns and a pond. The terraces are paved with natural stone and equipped with garden furniture and sandpit.
Surroundings:
The farmhouse is embedded in a diverse cultural landscape with individual farmsteads. The traditional bakery Naber with a small Edeka market is just 200 meters away. In the immediate vicinity flows the Vechte, which invites to hiking, cycling along the “Vechtetalroute” and paddling with the two existing at the house canoe. Along the river also leads the internationally known sculpture route “kunstwegen”, on the works of z. B. Olafur Eliasson or Fischli & White can be discovered.
Especially for children, the nearby Arends-Hof with old domestic breeds and petting zoo completes the country experience. Rides are z. B. at the horse farm Delke in Uelsen possible. In addition, the neighboring Dutch villages Gramsbergen and Covoerden are worth a visit.
The region of Grafschaft Bentheim on the Dutch-German border is considered a particularly bicycle-friendly region with its 1200 km of cycle paths. In addition to the art project, it is known for the Bourtanger Moor international nature park – the largest contiguous moor area in Central Europe.
