The private over 7000m ² large property in the “Westensee Nature Park” located directly on the West Lake, offers many opportunities for sports, hikers, cyclists, dreamers, adventurers, nature lovers, water sports enthusiasts and those in need of rest. At the hotel’s own jetty, with senior-friendly bathing steps, the rowing boat and the canoe are ready for excursions and exploratory trips on the lake and the Eider.
The open kitchen with lake view merges into the dining hall. In summer, the conservatory offers cozy evenings. In the living room there are TV with DvD player and wood-burning stove, for the always firewood behind the house is ready to hand.
Between main house and garden house is the fire and barbecue area, which enjoys great popularity. A “normal” barbecue is ready and a nice tripod grill can be placed over the campfire. If the weather is not so good there is nothing better than to cool off after a sauna directly in the lake. Likewise, countless board games and books can be pared down for busy hours or you can put on a “carving lesson” at the craft workshop you have available.
The property is only 90% fenced due to terrain and up to a maximum of 4 dogs are allowed free of charge.
The house and grounds are regularly inhabited by the family and lovingly maintained. It is a private rental that does not belong to any “big landlords”.
When renting the property, you are basically the entire property and all buildings with complete inventory for unrestricted use, except for a locked private storage room. When you arrive you will feel that until a few days ago a family lived there, because you will find everything you need in a household.
This will certainly be a relaxing holiday of a special kind, to which you will always like to think back!
On the property is camping (limited) allowed and thus is a small camping adventure with the children nothing in the way. Motorhomes and camping buses may be parked for reasons of nature conservation only on the upper plot.
