Property Description
Our beautiful house is located in the small dune village Wissel, a district of the city Kalkar, on the lower left Lower Rhine, only about five kilometers north of the historic city center in the Rhine lowlands. The house is located in the holiday home area on Lake Wisseler and offers direct access to the lido.
On about 120 square meters is enough space for 6 people. Our cottage has
* three bedrooms
* a cozy living room
* a fully equipped kitchen
* a dining room with fireplace
* a shower room with barrier-free shower
* a furnished terrace (covered)
* a beautiful garden with sun loungers, parasol and beach chair
* parking for 1 to 2 cars in front of the house
The living room is located on a gallery and is equipped with a cozy living area and two armchairs and coffee table.
In a small chest of drawers is a selection of books and board games. Furthermore, a large flat screen TV, a DVD player and a small stereo system are available. On request (z. B. in bad weather – should occur on the Lower Rhine sometimes 😉 – we can provide a Playstation 2, various games and DVDs available.
In the spacious winter garden, a large dining table with six chairs offers enough space for dining and cozy games evenings. Other chairs are available in the individual bedrooms.
In the modern kitchen is a fully equipped, new kitchen with oven and ceramic hob.
A dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave are also included.
Furthermore, a coffee maker, a kettle, a blender, a toaster, an egg cooker and a sufficient number of crockery, cutlery, glasses, bowls, pots and pans and other kitchen utensils are available.
On the ground floor, with access to the garden, this bright and pleasant double room has a 180 x 200 cm bed, a spacious wardrobe and a mirror. Furthermore, a clock radio is available.
The second bedroom on the ground floor sleeps two in single beds and has a large wardrobe.
The third bedroom is upstairs and offers two single beds (each 90 x 200 cm). The wardrobe is due to lack of space in front of the room.
Of course, all beds are made fresh upon your arrival.
The modern bathroom with vanity and large mirror, toilet, wheelchair-accessible shower (if necessary with shower stool) and hair dryer is equipped with hand and shower towels in sufficient numbers.
Bath towels for the beach and for the pool are please bring your own!
For our little guests there is a highchair and an additional baby travel bed in the size 60 x 120 cm ready.
You can spend comfortable hours on the furnished terrace. While our little guests build ‘castles’ in a small sandbox, the ‘big ones’ can make themselves comfortable in the beach chair.
In the garden two sun loungers invite you to relax. A parasol and a barbecue are of course also available.
And if you just want to get bread or do not want to explore the Lower Rhine by car or “on foot”: There are two bicycles for our guests free of charge.
In the house is an extensive information folder and a folder with numerous excursion tips ready. Of course, we also help you with your planning.
For maximum comfort, our house is equipped with underfloor heating, solar panels for heating water and heating support and a decentralized, controlled living room ventilation.
