In the recreation room, you will find a sauna, pool table and washing machine and dryer. The large enclosed garden with views over the hills behind is a pleasure for both humans and animals. House Morgenwald is located in Ramscheid, a town high in the mountains that consists of a church, some farms, and several residences. The home is located on a dead-end street that turns into a trail through the woods. From the house, you can take beautiful walks or go mountain biking. There are very few people to encounter: the company you keep will often be deer, foxes, many species of birds of prey, and other wildlife. In the summer, you can swim and sail in the area’s artificial lakes. In the winter, there are (cross-country) skiing trails with lifts two kilometres from the house. Morgenwald is also a great starting point for those who love cultural activities and large cities. Aachen, Bonn, Monschau, and Cologne are all an hour’s drive away. The drive to Trier, the Moselle, and the Ahr region is a bit longer, but also quite worth it. Children can easily entertain themselves in the house, the garden, the safe village, and the surroundings. Your pets are welcome, too.
