The Ederbergland holiday region is in central Germany, located in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district on the edge of the Sauerland region and bordering the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park. Along the sparkling clear Eder River you will find beautiful forests, lush green pastures and idyllic valleys offering wonderful tranquillity. The area’s natural beauty is complemented by romantic half-timbered houses and the charm of historic towns. You will be staying in this generously sized holiday home furnished in a country-house style with a light-filled conservatory and your own terrace with garden furniture. The holiday home is located right in the town of Battenberg. Since the property is situated on a slope, there are stairs leading to the garden and the entrance to the home. Outside, you will find a nature garden with herb and vegetable beds and a pen for rabbits and chickens as well as bees. In the immediate vicinity you will find a small bakery offering fresh regional specialities. About 20 metres away, diagonally across from the accommodation, you will find a large playground with play equipment and a sports ground. The centre of Battenberg is about a 10-minute walk away. Favourite daytrip destinations: Winterberg (30 km), Edersee (50 km), Kellerwald National Park (35 km), Frankenberg with its historic district (15 km), Dodenau game preserve (5 km) and much more.
