Welcome to the beautiful Ederbergland region and the superbly situated and scenic Battenberg. Enjoyment, relaxation and a wide range of experiences and recreational opportunities make the Ederbergland holiday region appealing. The region is located on the southern slope of the Sauerland region, bordering the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park. The holiday home, in the country on the edge of the forest (taken over by the renter at the beginning of 2017), is located in the Laisa district and offers all the conditions for a relaxing holiday year-round. You will spend your holiday in a cosy holiday home amongst a park-like piece of land, bordered by a hedge. The house also offers ideal environment for a "dog-friendly holiday". The handicapped accessible holiday home is cosily and completely furnished and fully renovated in March 2017 and its interior has a totally new and much friendlier "look". The fireplace provides comforting warmth. An atmosphere where you will be at ease and regain your strength. Marvellous conditions for relaxing walks and kilometres-long hikes start right in front of the house. You can reach the hiking trail to the "Drachenflugplatz" in 20 minutes. You can reach the centre of Laisa in approx. 10 minutes on foot. Nearby Battenberg with exhibition mine, the timber frame town hall, the hunting lodge as well as the indoor and outdoor pool with wellness area is also available. About 40 km away is the Edersee and Waldeck Castle, shaped by history and tourism. The geographical location also offers optimal conditions for abundant winter sports opportunities. The ski areas of "Sackpfeife" or "Bromskirchen" are only a 10-minute drive away. Winterberg approx. 30 km.
