Property Description
Enjoy Top Luxury in true “Hamburg Style”. This new flat is located in newly constructed building (finished in late 2015) and it takes only 15 minutes by train (3 train stops) to get to the City Center / Hamburg Hauptbahnhof. There are 2 apartments for rent in this building and both can be rented at the same time for large groups (please see my other VRBO 601931 listings).
The space
The flat is located in the new private building (along with only 3 other flats), constructed in the second half of 2015.
The flat is empty of any personal belongings and is decorated using only top-quality materials and furniture to create truly luxurious environment. Every detail has been carefully thought through to re-create classical “Hamburg Style” apartment.
Overall experience is compared to what guests expect to receive in top 5* hotel, with an extra benefit of staying in a private apartment (such as private kitchen / spacious living room / private laundry facilities etc).
All amenities (such as fresh towels / fresh bed linen / shampoos / soaps / napkins / kitchen towels / paper / free coffee / free tee / washing utilities / etc) are of the highest standards and are always available free to all our guests. All kitchen essentials (such as plates / cups / glasses / pans etc) are all new and are of the highest standard.
The flat is 67 m2 and consists of a large and sunny living room, large bedroom, large kitchen with a breakfast table, large bathroom with a double bath, large hallway and a utility / dressing room. In the summer gusts will enjoy a large beautifully decorated private balcony overlooking a back-yard garden.
The flat is equipped to a highest standard. There is a new fairly large Samsung Smart-TV in the living room (all TV channels are transmitted only via Internet), free Internet W-Lan connection in the entire apartment, new washing machine in the bathroom, new dishwasher and large fridge in the kitchen, along with a new coffee-machine. There is also a modern floor-heating system in the whole flat, as well as modern ventilation system for the entire apartment.
Guest access
Guests will have an access to the flat and the extra storage room (around 4 m2) located in the attic. There is also a space under the main staircase for keeping the bicycles.
There is a large (180×200) double bed in the bedroom, which will sleep 2 persons. Additional sofa in the living room can accommodate a child free of charge, but is not suitable for an adult. We can also provide a baby coat upon request at no extra cost.
Interaction with guests
We will meet all our gusts personally, no matter at what time they choose to arrive (there will be no additional charges for late arrivals etc). For gusts that stay longer then 2 weeks we will provide free transfer from the airport / main railway station. We will be on call 24 hours, reacting to any requests the guests may have.
The neighborhood
The apartment is located in a lovely neighborhood of Hamburg – Tonndorf, on a very quite 30-km zone street, just around the corner from Studio Hamburg (leading center for film and television production in Northern Germany). Guests can enjoy Studio Hamburg canteen, offering lunches to public visitors for as little as 5 EUR per person. There is also a very lovely restaurant just opposite the studio entrance “Cafe del Sol”. It’s very popular with Studio Hamburg personal as well as with locals and it can get very busy on Fridays and weekends. It offers very cosy atmosphere, serving all kinds of international cousin (but mainly Italian dishes) along with large variety of cocktails and local beers. There is also a life music on some weekends during the summer months.
Tonndorfer Shopping Center is located just around the corner, offering variety of shops within the building itself, as well as in the surrounding buildings. Main store of the Shopping Center is big REWE supermarket. Here you can do all your grocery shopping in one convenient place.
There few cafeterias around the corner:
– Pizza Max – serving delicious fresh-made pizza to eat in or to take away
– Krox Hambrug – serving delicious freshly made sandwiches to eat in or to take away
– Stadtbäckerei Henning Schacht – Bakery and cafeteria, where freshly cooked bread and pastries for Breakfast are served from 06:00 in the morning till midday.
Jenfelder Lake is located 400 meters away. It is a very beautiful lake and park around it to enjoy some fresh air in beautiful green surrounding.

Getting around
It is extremely easy to get to the city center. Railway station “Hamburg Tonndorf” is located 400 meters away and it takes only 3 stops on “Regionl Bahn” to the main Railways Station (around 12 minutes on the train + around 3-5 minutes walking to the station). There is also a variety of public bus services around the flat, that can be used to get around the city.
Other things to note
Everything in the apartment is new and is in immaculate condition. All walls are decorated in white and can sometimes be a little marky. We wold like to ask our gusts to try to keep the “fresh” feel of the apartment so that the fellow travelers arriving after them can also enjoy their stay in a fresh environment.
