The lovely tourist town Gerolstein, one of the bigger towns in the region (and known for its spring water), is close by. A few good restaurants, nice little shops, bakeries and a supermarket can be found in the immediate vicinity. The tourist information office Gerolstein can give you details about the region’s hiking and cycle trails, the various zoos and other things you can do during the day. Trier, Coblenz and Cologne are also worth visiting. A lockable bicycle garage is at your disposal.
