This old farmhouse, which is characteristic of the Eifel, has been converted into a charming holiday house. The inside has been renovated in an especially nice and stylish design while preserving traditional elements such as the lovely tile floor and natural stone. The house is next to a large barn, which is used exclusively for storage, so you have no immediate neighbours and your peace and privacy are ensured. The house has a nice and comfortable living room with a cosy open fireplace and a dining room with direct access to the lovely garden with enclosed terrace. This is a great place to sit and enjoy the open view of the gently rolling hills for which the Eifel countryside is known. You will also find a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom on the ground floor. The second floor contains the second bathroom and three bedrooms. Finally, there is a spacious open loft with the sixth sleeping area, so there is plenty of space. There is now heating in this loft but because this is an open space the heat will go up to this space aswell. You can even park your car right out front free of charge. This house is in a tranquil location at the edge of the little village of Kalenborn Scheuern, a good area for hiking, cycling and fishing. Gerolstein is 7 km away, known for its spring water. It has a wide selection of restaurants, cafes and shops. Also be sure to visit Kasselburg, a ruined castle with its Adler and Wolfspark. Here you can get a close look at wolves and birds of prey, and there is also a beautiful view from the ruin itself.
