With a good snowboarding, the ski run from the ski area Hochzillertal is first possible via the valley run and then over the fields directly to the house. By train the Feriendomizil is also easily accessible. An open fireplace offers the possibility of a cozy, romantic fire in the living room. Wellness can be enjoyed with the infrared sauna after an excursion. The completely newly renovated, house is available for single use. An accessible, barrier-free shower, washing machine, parking for 2 Austos and terrace with garden furniture complete the offer.

Especially in autumn and winter, skiing on the Zillertal Glacier is a great experience!

The valley station of the Zillertaler Gletscherbahn is 31 km away. Depending on driving conditions and road conditions, you need 35-40 min.

The ski areas in the Zillertal – Zillertal Arena, Hochzillertal, Mayrhofen, Hintertux Glacier, etc. are easily accessible.

During a holiday in one of the most visited ski regions of the Alps, skiers and snowboarders experience winter sports conditions of the top class. Over a length of 50 kilometers and a splendid winter landscape, which encompasses 25 villages, there are several ski resorts, which together bring about 630 kilometers of slopes.

Skiing and snowboarding
From Fügen you reach the Spieljoch ski area, whose 21 km of slopes are predominantly medium-heavy. On the broad slopes of this manageable area, beginners and families feel quite well.

The two areas Hochfügen-Hochzillertal have joined together and can offer a considerable network of pistes with a total of 155 km.

Slopes of all levels of difficulty run here in a snow-safe, sunny altitude. Particularly beautiful carving routes can be found in the Hochzillertal area between Öfeler Joch and Kristallhütte. The two areas are also particularly popular as ski tour areas. From the villages of Zell am Ziller, Gerlos (both in Tyrol), Krimml / Hochkrimml and Wald-Königsleiten (both in the SalzburgerLand) you have access to the largest ski area of ??Zillertal, the Zillertal Arena with a total of 163 km of slopes. The main part of the downhill runs places moderate demands on skiers and snowboarders. Above Zell are almost only red runs, the Königsleitenspitze is even more difficult, but on the Gerlosplatte also families and not so strong skiers feel comfortable.

The ski areas of Mayrhofen-Hippach include the Penken / Rastkogel / Eggalm / Horberg ski areas, which are developed by the towns of Mayrhofen, Hippach and Lanersbach. On this valley side, there are 139 downhill slopes with predominantly moderate to medium difficulty to the winter sportsmen. A special challenge is waiting for the brave: the Harakiri slope of the Knorren is the steepest slope in Austria with 78% gradient. Also at the neighboring Horberg it becomes more demanding. On the other side of the valley, it heads up from Mayrhofen up to the maple, into a manageable area of ??18 km. Here beginners and families also feel comfortable and the 5,5 km long valley run is also designated as a highlight.

To conclude, only the glacier ski area on the Hintertux Glacier with 86 km of pistes is missing. Numerous alpine national teams are preparing for the skiing season under optimal conditions. But also normal skiers and snowboarders will find a lot of pleasure on slopes of all difficulty levels, combined with breathtaking views. The longest descent with 12 km is the glacier valley run from the frozen wall to the Hintertux valley station. A further challenge is the popular glacier round, which covers 72 km and 15,000 meters of altitude on one day.
