At only 7 km from Radstadt you’ll find the typical Austrian village of Forstau at a healthy altitude of 1,100 m. This farmhouse is located on a wonderful sunny spot and the owner has prepared this spacious apartment on the entire first floor. There are many animals living on and around the farm, like cows, calves, chickens, dear, pony’s and rabbits. It’s great fun to take a ride on a pony! The owner himself lives on the ground floor, but you’ll have complete privacy and the first floor can be reached via your own staircase. All three bedrooms feature an en-suite bathroom and TV. You will have have two large balconies at your disposal, on the south and west side. There’s a large garden around the house where the children will certainly enjoy themselves. Forstau is centrally located between the skiing areas of Schladming (15 minutes) and Flachau (20 minutes) and offers a perfect, small skiing area for families and beginning skiers with its Fageralm bergbahn. This lift is also open during the summer for a walk in the beautiful nature; the owner also offers the possibility to lead you through the mountains as a guide. It’s a perfect location for families who want to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and who like to have the choice from various skiing areas in the winter.
