Property Description
Our cottage is in a secluded location on a 800sqm large plot in a sunny location on the edge. The road ends shortly after the house as a dead end, so the location is wonderfully quiet! The large garden and the car-free environment are ideal for play for children outside. A ping pong table, including rackets and balls available. The covered porch is facing west. A fixed fire pit can be used for a campfire.
The entrance to the trail network in Finsterau is only about 300m.
The house is built of bricks and therefore keeps the internal temperature at comfortable level.
The interior is made of solid wood flooring, as well as the massive wood beamed ceiling.
A wood stove in the living area provides a cozy atmosphere, this firewood is plentiful.
Next to it is to relax even a sauna house with a sauna for 4 persons and a (cold) outdoor shower.
In the garden house bikes and skis can be parked, the car is protected from the house under a carport.
Our house is a Non smoking house. Dogs are not accepted unfortunately.
In the village center Finsterau (500m) is a well-stocked Edeka supermarket, which is open every day. It also has its own bakery with very good, fresh baked goods.
A recommended butcher (‘Kellermann’) is located in the neighboring Heinrichsbrunn. It is located approximately 1.5 km from the house on the main road on the right just before the exit of Heinrich Brunn.
In Finsterau Landhotel Bärnriegel is recommended for lunch and dinner, as well as the so-called. Tafernwirtschaft (only open until mid-afternoon by 16 clock) ‘To the Reverend’ in the museum village.
