In the middle of the idyllic Bavarian Forest you will find our newly furnished holiday home Meisl (www.haus-in-finsterau. De). The 800m² plot located fantastically beautiful in a southern exposure. The living area of ??the house (110m²) spread over two levels. On the ground floor is accessed via a small hallway into the spacious living and dining room (40m² with fireplace). Nearby is the bright kitchen.
This is equipped with a kettle, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, coffee maker, cooking utensils, dishes, freezer, refrigerator, electric stove / hob with oven / baking tray and an electric griddle. On the ground floor there is also a toilet.
The attic has a double room with balcony and one twin. The newly renovated bathroom has a walk-in shower, large corner bath invites you to relax (washing machine, hair dryer available). Our house has been furnished with great attention to detail.
Next door is the hut sauna with panoramic windows.
Leisure:
It offers many recreational activities in sports and trips to the Bavarian Forest National Park. Day trips in the Passau or the nearby Czech Republic are on offer. A great attraction for all seasons is the open air museum Finsterau. There, the Rural Construction, Housing and economies in the buildings will be shown to the smallest detail. Vivid is the museum at Musikantentreffen, Tradition demonstrations, cooking classes or fair.
In spring and autumn hikers and bikers will get their costs. Mauth-Finsterau offers over 100km of marked cycle paths. The mountains of the Bavarian Forest as Lusen, Rachel, Dreisessel and Arber are ideal for hiking.

Finsterau is one of the snowiest places in the Bavarian Forest. In winter, the place is transformed with an altitude up to 1100m in a winter wonderland.
