Directly on Seeblockhaus (sandy beach just 5 min. Walk from Seeblockhaus) can bathe our guests with views of the Great Plon Lake on the spacious balcony in the sun. Little visitors can enjoy a variety of play area in the garden at the back of the property, feeding chickens and by prior arrangement also pony rides. In the immediate vicinity you can wonderful hiking and cycling.
Furthermore, pony rides, massages and painting classes are offered in Seeblockhaus.
Children’s paradise
The Seeblockhaus is particularly attractive to children. On the extensive grounds with a playground young vacationers have much opportunity to play and run. The playground has a slide, swing, trampoline, sandpit, and lots more. There is also the possibility for fishing, horseback riding, and many other fun activities for the little ones in the area.
On Ploen Lake (sandy beach just 5 min. Walk from Seeblockhaus) can paddle visitors, sailing, surfing, swimming and fishing. In just 25 km from the Baltic Sea coast is white sandy beaches.

The region also offers a variety of architectural sights and attractions such. As shown in the photo the famous exhibition house Dunkersche Kate, the beautiful beach promenade in nearby Bad Malente-Gremsmühlen, the Rose City Eutin with lock and open-air stage, the Hansa-Park in Sierksdorf or the Maritime Museum Fehmarn.
Culture and Events: First-class cultural offerings to fantastic places like the Eutin castle, Ploen Prince House, St. St. Peter’s Church Bosau and the splendid estates attract young and old: the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, the Eutiner Summer Festival (open-air opera) and the Bosauer summer concerts (Pentecost – harvest, every Saturday) delight fans of classical music.
The jazz festival in Plon am See (Assumption), Jazz Baltica in Salzau, the Bluesfest in Eutin and Eutiner town festival with large flea market are popular highlights of the region.
Kiel Week (3rd Week in June) is the most important sailing event in the world and the largest summer festival. The Travemünde Week (3rd Week in July) is attracting more and more visitors.
