This is an opportunity to get up close and personal to one of a choice of fascinating animals at the UK’s favourite Zoo, Flamingo Land Theme Park and Zoo in North Yorkshire. Flamingo Land Zoo is currently home to well over 120 species of bird, mammal, amphibian, reptile and fish. You can choose from an animal encounter with a Meerkat, Lemur or Penguin, which one takes your fancy?
Pick a penguin and you’ll learn all about the colony of Humboldt’s and help feed them their lunch; you may even get a super friendly one who will take a fish from your hand. If Meerkats are your thing you will learn about their habitat at the park and some interesting things about the sociable animals, you’ll feed them a few snacks and get a tour of their ‘house’. You could otherwise opt to learn about the lemurs and get up close to these creatures in their own environment at the park, whilst offering them snacks.
