Description
Try your hand at the ancient art of hawking and falconry and be inspired by the sheer power and skill of a bird of prey. This introductory class gives a great start in meeting and getting comfortable with these powerful creatures. The session kicks off with a tour of Eagle Heights and a briefing session on different species and their unique features and strengths. Then receive some tuition from an experienced instructor on falconry and get handling the birds to familiarize yourself. The peak of the session is trying out falconry properly; fly a bird to the fist and marvel at the skill and speed of a true predator. You may get to see some of the other birds being exercised. Snacks and refreshments can be bought from the cafe at the venue.
