Discover the thrill of gliding with this exhilarating aviation experience. A glider tug aircraft will start by moving into position and then it's up, up and away! Soak up the breath-taking views of the rural idyll of Devon, the rugged outline of Dartmoor and the undulating hills of Exmoor as you ascend to 2000 feet. Once you've reached the ideal altitude, the tug aircraft will release, leaving you to bask in the quiet of the gliding flight, during which you'll have the chance to take the controls all the way to touchdown, if you wish!
This voucher entitles one person to three aerotowed flights in a glider. This voucher is valid for 10 months, for one person. This experience is available week round. Please note; exclusion dates apply. You should allow 4 hours for this experience. This experience starts at 12pm and finishes at 4pm. You should wear suitable clothing for the airfield: flat shoes, sunglasses, hat and sun block. Minimum age is 10 years and maximum age is 90 years. Maximum height is 6'5. Maximum weight is 90kg. You should be fit enough to climb in and out of the glider. Please discuss any medical issues at point of booking. All dates are subject to availability. Tea and coffee is available at the cost of £1 per cup.
