Start with your feet firmly on the ground during a comprehensive briefing – chat through any specific requirements with an instructor, depending on how brave you're feeling! Then climb aboard a Chipmunk RAF Trainer and once airborne, the pilot instructor puts the plane through its paces – hang on tight for a breathtaking full aerobatic sequence, which might include loops, rolls, stall-turns, wing-overs, barrel rolls, Cuban eights and rolls-off-the-top. The ride can be as stomach-churning or as gentle as you like – it's up to you. Then if you want to have a go, the instructor hands over the controls so you can experience the thrill of flying a plane.
