There’s nothing quite like the thrill of a helicopter ride, except perhaps taking the controls and flying one for yourself. With this 15 minute flying experience you’ll get to sample the exhilarating sensation of hovering hundreds of feet off the ground while gaining hands-on flying experience under the guidance of a qualified instructor.
As the only domestic aircraft able to go backwards, sideways and pretty much straight up and down, the helicopter is an amazing piece of flying technology that we often take for granted as part of the traffic of our skies. However flying one for yourself will give you a whole new perspective on its usefulness and technical ingenuity. During the flight you’ll be linked to your instructor and air-traffic control via a set of headphones. Once in the air you’ll be able to take the controls for a few minutes, although your pilot instructor will be responsible for take-off and landing the craft. An amazing air-born experience.
