S40215is a very traditional old stone farmhouse standing in its own grounds with a few barns around. A wonderful and truly secluded location with views up and down this wild and remote Welsh valley. Perfect for nature-watching, there are often Red Kites soaring overhead from their nearby nests. Plenty of walks straight from the door, this is not a place to stay if you want to pop out every morning for a newspaper and pint of milk or for a pizza delivery.

Sleeps 4 – 1 Double 1 King-Size
The downstairs is now opened up to make one large room with a contemporary kitchen that has everything needed. An electric cooker and oven, microwave, a fridge and a separate freezer, a washing machine and a pine table with chairs. A very efficient wood burning stove set in the large original stone fireplace, comfortable sofas and chairs and a digi box TV with basic package and DVD.
Up a flight of fairly steep stairs to two bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: A double bed
Bathroom with a bath with a shower over, handbasin and toilet.
There is an attached large field that is well fenced if visitors want to let dogs out for a run and in the front of the cottage is a stone walled enclosed little terrace garden, somewhere to sit with a cup of coffee in the morning sunshine. There is also a BBQ there and garden furniture.

Ideal base for exploring
This is truly a cottage to get away from it all. Pack up your bags and forget your troubles. No traffic except the odd car on the school run or a tractor or a flock of sheep. There is the Eppynt Walk, Ride or cycle trail a 40 miles circular trail accessed just up the valley.
The closest pub is The Shoemakers Arms 4 miles away. Sennybridge is 5 miles and Brecon 10 miles.
