This is a delightful hideaway just a couple of miles between the village of Sennybridge, Trecastle and Defynnog within the Brecon Beacons National Park with stunning walks from the door.
Two miles of trout and salmon fishing during the season on the River Usk, accessible from the coach house via a short walk through the garden and the field. Bookings through www.wyeuskfoundation.org. A fishing licence needs to be held to access the river for fishing.
From this well decorated and contemporary style coach house, accessed up a flight of granary steps onto a balcony with table and chairs, are views over the walled garden towards the Brecon Beacons, surrounding hills which surround the property and beyond. The visitors also have access to part of Pantyscallog House' lovely garden and court yard with a BBQ, table and chairs.

The sitting/dining room has two very comfy sofas and a coffee table with TV with Freesat and DVD player. The dining area has a large bookcase with books for your enjoyment and a comfortable dining area.
The kitchen beautifully decorated in cream, blue and black with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher.
Bedroom 1: A bedroom with a king sized bed
Bedroom 2: A bedroom with a single bed (a cot can be provided)
The bathroom has been beautifully decorated in tranquil colours with painted wood panelled bath with a shower over, hand basin and toilet.

The owners have offered visitors to the Coach House access to their Games Room, where there is a full sized Pool Table. This needs to be discussed with the owner beforehand to arrange times etc.
This a perfect place to unwind and relax after a day exploring the neighbouring towns and villages, out on bikes or walking on the hills.
Private fishing on The Upper Reaches of The River Usk – just walk through the garden and the kissing gate and down to the river; whether you are a fisherman or would just like to relax beside the river this is a delightful place to be.
There are plenty of great places to eat and drink within a short distance of the house. The Usk & Railway Inn in Sennybridge has a very good reputation for food, The Shoemakers Arms at Pentrebach is a community owned pub and again has a good reputation. The tiny hamlet of Defynnog is worth a visit with Britain's most ancient Yew Tree found in the church yard of St. James Church – after a visit make sure you pop over to The Tanners Arms, very popular for local ales.
From the coach house it is an easy drive to numerous places of interest, whether to the Elan Valley, or as far as the South coast of Walesto Swansea Bay and the South Wales Coast; Or less than an hour's drive much closer to home with Craig Y Nos Castle and Country Park, where Adelina Patti's personal Castle has its own theatre or Myddfai with its beautiful village hall, close to Llyn-y-fan Fach – where the Lady of the Lake myth comes from. Llyn Brianne with the Devil's Staircase and of course the whole of The Brecon Beacons National Park for you to explore.
