Situated within Brynrodyn Holiday Park, S83415 is just a 15-minute walk away to Borth, a long, narrow village fronted by sandy beaches and popular with families and surfers. Borth Station Museum features displays of local railway history in an attractive setting, including a restored 1950s ticket office. Borth Animalarium, a zoo in miniature and home to a mixture of exotic and unusual animals, is also well worth a visit.

At the southern end of the beach, ancient remains of a submerged forest can sometimes be seen. Many say these are remains of Cantre'r Gwaelod, a legendary Welsh land that was flooded and lost through the carelessness of its night watchman. Situated a short drive north of Borth, the Ynyslas National Nature Reserve is dominated by an ever-changing sand dune landscape, home to an array of rare plants, wildlife and wading birds.
Across the estuary to Aberdyfi, Ynyslas is a great spot for walking or relaxing with waymarked boardwalks, trails through the dunes and a visitor centre. Nearby Aberystwyth, nestled between hills and beach, boasts a castle, harbour, pier, promenade and many Victorian buildings. There are a range of facilities available on-site including a gym, soft play area and bar/restaurant (open everyday in season, otherwise closed Monday to Thursday) with a lovely balcony to enjoy watching the sunsets over Cardigan Bay. The park also offers entertainment so you can relax over a drink or meal, or enjoy music, dancing and themed evenings. Fishing and water sports nearby.
