Just a short walk away from this Dorset Holiday Cottage is the beautiful and unique Lulworth Cove, one of the most stunning parts of Dorset's World Heritage Jurassic Coastline which sits within the officially designated Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty; this is the perfect location for a picnic or swim in the sea during the summer. Follow the South West Coast path along to Durdle Door, a must visit attraction, with its glorious shingle beaches and enjoy the views of the spectacular Jurassic Coast. West Lulworth has a village shop (seasonal) and two pubs. The Castle Inn is a traditional 16th Century thatched free house pub and hotel with an extensive food menu, it is a short stroll from S43408 and an extremely dog friendly pub; they even have dog treats on the bar! (Please check opening). A few minutes' walk in the other direction towards the Cove brings you to another pub, restaurants, ice-cream and fudge shops.
