The private site has stunning walks from the door and welcomes you and your pets, making this an ideal location for couples wishing to make the most of the outdoor activities. An amazing drive through the forest will take you to Kielder Water (a 4 wheel drive vehicle needed, closed during the winter season), or a slightly longer route will take you on a scenic route around the entire reservoir. A perfect base to explore the Northumberland National Park and Kielder Forest and observatory, ideal for exploring the whole of this friendly and unspoilt county. Otterburn is 9 miles with a beautiful Pub Le Petite Château, a mill shop and general dealers. Bellingham and Jedburgh are of around equal distance and offer amenities to suit everyone. A day trip to Alnwick with its famous castle and the Northumberland Heritage Coast, peppered with castles and beaches, makes a fine day out. Hadrians Wall is is steeped in history with Roman forts and museums along the way. A great location for those looking to explore this friendly and unspoilt county.
