The 90 acres of rolling grounds are perfect for playing, outdoor dining, or discovering the woodland area offering countryside walks. There is also an all-weather tennis court and an on-site licensed bar.
There are several sandy beaches nearby and the pretty seaside town of New Quay is just 20 minutes away by car. Here you will find cafes, restaurants and pubs open year round, and the harbour wall is a great place to sit and watch bottlenose dolphins, frequent visitors to the bay. Boats trips are also available along the coast. Why not try out the dry ski slope at Llangrannog, or visit Aberystwyth and take a ride on the electric cliff railway to the summit of Constitution Hill from where you can enjoy the fabulous view whilst enjoying coffee and cake!

During the season (dates and times below) the leisure facilities located within the grounds of Castell Howell are available to book for guests staying in the cottages. Guests may book to use the heated indoor swimming pool with toddler pool, squash court and games room (with pool table, darts and game machines)

Bar, Squash court and games room is open 1/10 -26/5 Weds, Fri & Sat 6.30- 10.30pm. (Winter season) and 26/5 30/9 6.30-10.30pm daily except Mon (summer season)
Squash court is £1 for 30 minutes by coin meter.
Children must be supervised by adults in the pool and not left unattended.
