Location: S26892 is on the eastern edge of Betws y Coed, has wonderful views over the river and tree-lined Lledr valley and is only ten minutes walk from the village centre, with a footpath close by leading to an excellent local restaurant as well to beautiful woodland walks in the hills above the village. The village is a very good holiday base, with easy access to Snowdonia and yet just half an hour's drive to the coast at Llandudno, Conwy and Colwyn Bay. Local attractions: Previous guests recommend a walk in the woods around Betws Y Coed, Aber Falls, Bodnant Gardens, Harlech Castle, Snowdon, Port Meirion, Llechwedd slate caverns and Conway Castle. For the more active a day of mountaineering or kayaking at Plas Y Brenin or the nearby Tree Tops high rope adventure course. Local Restaurants: The Royal Oak Hotel in Betws Y Coed has great food, Ty Gwyn Inn with a “fantastic atmosphere” is a short walk away. If you prefer to do the cooking yourself the butcher in Trefiw (10 minutes drive to the North) is highly recommended.
Accommodation: Has two bedrooms (one with en-suite shower room) and family bathroom (bath with shower over) all on the ground floor. On the first floor are kitchen-diner and large lounge with raftered ceiling and picture windows. Guests feel at home straight away in this popular cottage.
