For keen walkers the famous Offa's Dyke walking trail runs just 200m past the front door and you can enjoy wonderful walks along the River Wye just down the lane below the cottages.
Set over three floors, S40326has charming, light, country cottage interiors with exposed wooden floors in the living room and bedrooms and quarry tile flooring in the kitchen. A traditional wrought iron fireplace with an open fire and two very comfortable sofas to be able to relax in front of a proper fire.
The kitchen-diner is newly refurbished in a country style and daylight floods in through a large sky light overhead and the open-glass back door. Following through a short corridor past a downstairs modern bathroom with a shower over bath and out into a south facing garden there is a flagstone patio area which is a perfect place to have an afternoon meal in the summer or unwind with a glass of wine after a long day walking along the river.

Things to Do in the area
Take a trip to Wye Valley Canoes and go for a punt down the river, or hire a Vespa and cruise around the Welsh countryside. You could also stop over at the River Cafe for a bite to eat, perfect of a lazy summer afternoon or even an escape on a rainy day looking for some delicious fresh country food.
The town of Brecon is about 30 minutes away where you can visit the Regimental Museum of the Royal Welsh, or pop in to experience some music at the Brecon Jazz festival and Fringe Festival. Even take a trip up to the Brecon Cathedral and have an afternoon tea at the Pilgrim's Tea Rooms.
