By prior arrangement, guests are welcome to have breakfast in the house where the owners use home-made and locally sourced ingredients. Bring your rackets and enjoy a game of tennis on the owners' outdoor court.

Quiet lanes and public footpaths can be enjoyed direct from the doorstep, either on foot or by bike. The property is an ideal base for exploring the delightful, picturesque villages and old market towns that Suffolk has to offer. The old wool town of Lavenham, just over 3 miles away, boasts a spectacular Guildhall and medieval houses. Constable Country is located to the east, with East Bergholt, Dedham and Flatford close by. In Dedham, you can hire a boat for a days rowing on the River Stour. Sudbury, 9 miles away, is the birthplace of Thomas Gainsborough, and the cathedral town of Bury St Edmunds is easily accessible, as is Newmarket, where you can enjoy the races. The sandy beaches of Frinton, Walton and Felixstowe are only an hour's drive away, while Aldeburgh and Southwold are just a little further. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
