Beautiful sunsets and wonderful views beyond the river to the water meadows beyond make this a perfect place for enjoying the outdoors. In the cooler months, enjoy the warmth of the wood burner in the cosy atmosphere of the Fisherman's lodge. The pretty town of Fordingbridge is within 1 mile and the historic city of Salisbury 12 miles away.

Accommodation

Single storey construction with high ceilings. Bi-fold doors in lounge onto a veranda overlooking the lake (with illuminated water cascade feature) and river.
Kitchen/diner/lounge with wood burner and Sky TV/DVD, dining table with seating for 4. Kitchen area: electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and underfloor heating.
Bedroom 1 Zip link bed which can be either superking or two singles, Patio doors onto veranda – underfloor heating SKY TV/DVD

Outside: fenced lawned small garden area with picnic bench. Free fishing on 70 yards (single bank) of Avon and in small lake (small carp, bream, perch, tench and roach).

Shed for fishing tackle. Toilet and shower can be accessed directly from outside.

Please note: due to deep fast flowing river and adjoining deep lake not suitable for children. Due to deer and other wild life not suitable for dogs and not suitable for the infirm due to 100 yard walk down slope to Lodge (trailer available for luggage and fishing tackle)

Please note: Mews Hill A824 and Criddlestyle Cottage A807 can be booked along with the property to accommodate up to 25 people and two horses.

There is a nearby (150 yards) paddock and stable for two horses available on a DIY basis for £100 per horse per week.
