The National Trusts Lyme Park can also be reached in around half an hour, as can Derwent Reservoir. The magnificent Chatsworth House is around a 50-minute drive, and Glossop train station is around a 15-minute walk, and offers a direct service into Manchester city centre in just 32 minutes.
