Welcome to the Kylltal, on the edge of the volcanic Eifel.
The detached holiday home EIFEL REFUGIUM with its fantastic hillside location, consists of two comfortably furnished self-sufficient homes. It is on the high banks of the Kyll and is surrounded by an old idyllic garden. In 2015 it has been renovated indoors loving and design-oriented.
Just offering comfortable and comfort the Eifel retreat is ideal for friends and for the whole family. Both apartments are fully equipped with everything that makes life pleasant.
Between the floors there is a lockable staircase. If you want , you can use the washer and dryer into the utility room. Around the house you alone have the romantic garden with water wheel and pond (1.40 depth. Caution toddlers!) And the great terrain. Attached to the house is a barbecue hut with open fireplace. For cars and bicycles, there is a park.
The lower apartment “TERRACE” is 44 square meters. They entered through the patio door to the kitchen. This has a modern, well-equipped kitchenette with oven and 4 hotplates and refrigerator with freezer. A seating area with sofa bed, fireplace bench and table perfect for leisurely eating and relaxing. A flat-screen TV on the wall where applicable, for entertainment. The bright bedroom with nice ambience has a 180×200 large bed with quality mattresses. The bathroom with window is equipped with a modern sink, tub and toilet. A spacious Extra shower is located on the opposite side of the hallway. The large terrace with seating and sun loungers invites you to enjoy the sun all day.
The upper apartment “VERANDA” is 56 square meters. The light-filled living room, a dining table is with four chairs and a large seating area. Also available as a sofa bed for two people. The small, open kitchen to living room, has a cooking island with 2-zone ceramic hob. The first bedroom has a 160×200 large bed with quality mattresses. As in a hotel room, you have direct access to shower and toilet. A small 2nd bedroom has the possibility of the sub-mattress to utilize a 90×200 cm large bed for extra sleeping. From this room you have a direct access to the covered porch. In the entrance there is a separate guest toilet.
Enjoy the charm of the house with ART, LITERATURE and MUSIC. A well-stocked bookshelves, with music CDs from classical to modern, and reading material from Roman to crime or Eifel picture books, as well as current Eifel info is available to them. Or stroll on the large outdoor area and are looking for a nice Verweilplätzchen. Be it in the shade on the bench by the pond, on the patio or terrace with sun beds and umbrellas. Or a sundowner on the bench at the hut to watch the sunset. like to keep a convivial evening down on the terrace or in the barbecue hut, together with your friends from above, you will be remembered. Or enjoy a meal on the upper covered veranda with Japanese table-top grill. With a cool glass of Riesling Mosel or fresh Bitburger Pils can be good to make plans for the next day. Do you want to be active? Just outside the front door, you can leave for short and long walks in the Eifel FORESTS or bike rides on the romantic Kylltal-CYCLE. Or you may make a nice tour to the EIFELMAAREN (25km) to the VINEYARDS AT THE MOSEL (40km) or in the Roman city of Trier (55km) A visit to the KUNSTHAUS ZENDSCHEID with interesting exhibitions of contemporary art is highly recommended.
