The train station is within walking distance and provides an hourly connection to Trier and Cologne. Shopping facilities and restaurants can be found in Kyllburg (12 km), Bitburg (24 km) and Trier (60 km). The Kyllburger Waldeifel is a recreational area in the southern part of the Eifel region. It is a very popular area and especially known for its picturesque and densely wooded surroundings. Active holidaymakers can choose between numerous possibilities. They can go hiking, fishing, swimming or golfing. Visiting the cities Trier and Luxembourg is also an option. The city Bitburg, the zoo in Lüneburg, the Eifelpark in Gondorf (wildlife park) and the beautiful river Moselle are worth visiting, too. Enjoy a wonderful holiday in the Kyllburger Waldeifel.
