Built in 1585 The Old Winery is one of the oldest and is a very important listed building. Recently it has been completely and sympathetically renovated and modernized to create a haven of stylish tranquility with old beams and characterful ambiance.
Briedel is in the heart of the Middle Mosel directly in the romantic landscape of the Mosel loop around the Marienburg. Sun-kissed vineyards and beautiful romantic half timbered houses abound one of which is “The Old Winery” which is almost certainly one of the oldest houses standing. With the excellent hospitality with traditional cuisine and excellent Moselle wines just awaiting our guests.
Our apartments are ideally placed to explore the beautiful Mosel area and all its attractions being only 3km from the stunning town of Zell. It is perfectly placed for cycling and walking for all different levels of fitness. This area is also famous for its Spa facilities with a unique spa in the village of Bad Bertrich, which is supplied by the volcanic water from the Eifel mountains which should help to restore and revitalize you. Of course there are many others which all have their benefits to offer.
Apartment No 4 – Briedeler Schweiz – is on the second floor, a loft style apartment. This apartment is open plan with a wonderfully light dining/kitchen. A lounge area and two bedrooms. This apartment has a modern shower room.
