A new, large and well equipped (90m2) apartment which is in the beautiful medievil town of Zell am See. It has a balcony overlooked by mountains that make up part of the majestic Hohe Tauren National Park, two people can sit comfortably on the balcony in the evening whilst watching the evening sun slowly disappearing from the mountain tops. It is a short walk to the ski lift that takes you up into a wonderful ski area overlooking the lake. The crystal clear water of the lake and its bathing area are no more than 2 minutes walk away. The leisure complex with its fantastic amenities is one minutes walk away and this contains a sauna and a steam room as well as diving boards and fun slides for the children for the children.
The apartment is in a traditional Austrian townhouse with a marble staircase that leads you to the apartment door on the first floor. On entering the apartment you will be immediately struck with how spacious it is. There is a large hall from which the other rooms branch off. The apartment has been fitted to a high standard with a new kitchen that contains a dish washer and fridge freezer as well as plenty of storage space for food. There is an electric oven and 4 hobs next to the sink, the layout makes for a pleasurable catering experience. The kitchen and lounge is open plan which allows you to prepare meals whilst chatting to other members of the party, also within space there is a table that allows 6 people to comfortably sit down for an evening meal. The kichen/ dining area and lounge feels modern, light and spacious, with glass doors to seperate this part of the apartment from the rest of it, which is useful if younger members of the group need to retire early, whilst others continue to chat over a meal. There is a DVD player in the lounge attached to the LED television, there is a Playstation 2 with games and a video library with more than 50 hollywood blockbusters, a collection that continues to grow as and when we visit. Many guests have commented on how lovely, light and relaxing this area is as it has good views and a relaxing and large leather sofa. There is also a comfortable double pullout bed in the lounge which allows for a couple of extra people to be accomodated out of the bedrooms.
The bathroom has a seperate bath and shower, which allows guests to have a lovely muscle soothing bath at the end of a busy days walking or skiing. There is a large double sink with a mirror. There is also a washing machine in the bathroom that allows laundry to be done should you wish. The toilet is seperate from the bathroom which is much more convenient for guests.
There is a large storage cupboard for guests that allows for the storage of suitcases and other large bulky items.
There are two large bedrooms that look out onto the ski slopes of the Schmitten,the view allowing the excitement to build before you have stepped outside. One bedroom contains a large double bed with a large wardrobe, whilst the other contains twin beds with a large wardrobe. Both of the rooms have pullout sofa’s which allow for more people to be accomodated should you choose.
In the basement there is a locker room that allows you to store skiis, walking boots or other items that you do not wish to have in the apartment.
The apartment is cleaned professionaly after every visit to make sure that the apartment will provide a warm, relaxing and clean environment from which to explore the massive amount that this area has to offer in the summer and winter months. Our agents in Zell are fantastic and are on hand to answer any questions that you may have about the apartment as well as being able to help you with any issues that may arise during your stay, many of our guests have commented on the piece of mind that this gives. For access for the department there is a security box with a code so it does not matter what time you arrive.
